[She hates this. She shouldn't, because it's what needs to be done, but she does. It smacks of "hey, let's show our vulnerable belly." But the alternative is...worse.]
[ By this time, Fett has already faced the ordeal with his own... object. Of course, it's obvious by now that it had been more than just a simple toy they were meant to protect. Weapon also doesn't feel like quite the right word, but either way: it was meant to hurt them. He's more than a little annoyed that his had succeeded in hurting him, however temporarily.
Still, it means he can indeed guess what this message is about—and is disposed to want to eliminate the threat. ]
[ Right. That part. Honestly, Fett hadn't found the return of his emotions all that challenging, but then, he hadn't been keeping the toy in the same room he sleeps. Perhaps that had spared him the worst of its curse. Or maybe it's just that this had been right after the shab'la thing convinced him he had maimed his own granddaughter, and there had only been so much negative emotion he could process at one time. Either way, he'd managed to sleep it off.
The Jedi is evidently expecting worse. Fett feels misgiving curl in his gut. If you'd asked him a couple of decades ago, he'd have said it mattered little to him whether or not a Jedi fell to the Dark Side. At least a Sith would be more upfront about their ambitions, and would be a more likely client, besides.
Of course, that had been before Jacen Solo had fallen—and murdered Fett's daughter on his way down. ]
How bad do you expect to get?
[ Or, more plainly: does she expect him to restrain her, or does she expect him to put her down? ]
Wish I knew - it might be nothing, but then again, that's kinda how the Remnant manufactured me in the first place - pouring a lot of energy into me and aiming it.
[It's uncharted territory, is the point. It could go a bunch of different ways.]
And I need somebody who can reliably figure out how to stop me, and won't be afraid to make sure I don't hurt anybody, by any means.
[ No gloating, no mockery—if anything, the Jedi's request has Fett's estimation of her ticking up just slightly. She acknowledges the danger she could pose, for one thing, and she's taking actual precautions to mitigate it instead of relying on ancient blatherings about peace and light. If only all Jedi were so pragmatic. ]
[It helps that she remembers the Mal-that-was entirely too well.]
Dirty tricks. That version of me was cunning, opportunistic, and enjoyed it entirely too much. Not sure if you've ever had to take on a dark jedi before, but I'm assuming it'd be a lot like what you've experienced.

So I need a favour.
I'm pretty sure you can guess what it is.

Need something unraveled?
Re: text;
Probably. But...it's more than that.
Look, you know a lot about Jedi. These things are storing up emotions, right? That revert back to us when destroyed...
[Please figure it out and don't make her say it.]

What should I expect if you lose control?

Oh, I was a big fan of tripwires back then, too.

did go that way, it wouldn't be anything that couldn't be figured out by, like, simple body language.

And...thanks for this. It's better for everyone that there's some checks.
